Description

This access point is located on river right. American Whitewater worked to formalize this site as a condition of the Clackamas Hydroelectric Project. The facility was developed and is maintained by Portland General Electric as a condition of their hydropower license and served as an ideal take-out optino with changing rooms and restroom facilities maintained by the utility. A wide switchback path is available for rafts and a steeper more direct route from the river is available for kayakers. This site can also be used as a put-in for those looking for a beginner float. USGS River Mile 37.2.
