Description

Following a few small boulder gardens, a triple drop formed by a number of large rocks signals what is generally the last rapid to run before the beginning of the portage. The line is fairly simple but setting a safety rope at the bottom is advised, as a swim could lead to a flush through the Enormotron.

The first drop is a small 2' slide over a submerged boulder into an eddy on the left. From here, ferry over to take the center line on the 2nd drop, which is similar to Reverse 7 Foot on the Green. The 3rd drop resembles a miniature Bow Down (on Jones Creek): take a stroke through the pillow coming off a big rock on the right, duck an overhanging log, and book it to the eddy on the left to begin the portage.
