Description
Corkscrew Rapids features a tight, twisting channel with multiple diagonal hydraulics and a series of offset rock formations that require precise boat positioning. Paddlers must navigate a technical entrance with a hard right move to avoid a powerful recirculating hole on the river left, then quickly transition through a sequence of steep, pushy waves that can easily flip an unprepared boat. The rapid demands advanced boat control and the ability to make quick, decisive line adjustments in swift, turbulent water.
