Description
Double Five Footer is a technical Class IV drop with a narrow, boulder-choked entrance that requires precise boat positioning and quick maneuvering between undercut rocks. The rapid features a steep, 5-foot vertical descent with a powerful hydraulic at the bottom that can potentially hold a boat, demanding paddlers to maintain momentum and choose a clean line through the center-right channel. Paddlers should scout carefully, as the surrounding rocks and potential wood hazards can create serious entrapment risks during high water.
