Description
Grotto Falls is a challenging Class III+ drop featuring a technical entry with a narrow, boulder-strewn approach that funnels into a steep 8-foot vertical waterfall. Paddlers must precisely navigate the initial boulder garden to set up a clean line over the falls, with significant hydraulic potential and the risk of getting pushed into undercut rocks on the river right side. A strong roll and precise boat control are essential for safely managing this intense descent.
