Description
World's Edge presents a technical Class II+ descent with a series of closely-spaced rock gardens that require precise boat positioning and quick maneuvering. Paddlers should anticipate multiple boulder-induced hydraulics and be prepared to navigate a tight main channel that shifts dramatically between high and low water conditions. The rapid's final drop contains a deceptive mid-stream pourover that can easily flip unprepared boats, so maintaining momentum and selecting the cleanest line is critical.
