Description

Cave Canyon Rapid features a constricted channel with moderate hydraulics and a technical entry requiring precise boat positioning. Paddlers should be prepared for a series of offset waves and a potential mid-rapid rooster tail that can push boats toward the right bank's rocky shelf. Scout the rapid carefully from river right to identify the cleanest line and potential hazards, particularly during lower water conditions.
