Description

Larsen Rapid features a technical boulder-strewn entry with multiple potential lines that require precise maneuvering between midstream rocks. The rapid builds momentum through a moderate gradient with increasing wave trains, demanding paddlers maintain clean boat positioning and be prepared to make quick eddy turns to avoid potential hydraulic traps. At higher water levels, the center and river-right channels can develop more aggressive holes that require skilled navigation and precise boat control.
