Tetherow Log Jam is a primitive day-use access point on the Deschutes River located below Pringle Falls in the Deschutes National Forest near La Pine. This site provides boat launch access to a non-motorized section of the river and connects paddlers to the scenic Deschutes River Trail. The facility includes a basic boat ramp, picnic tables, and restroom facilities.

**Important Launch Considerations:** The boat ramp features a challenging two-foot drop-off at its end, making launch conditions difficult and potentially requiring assistance. This site is best suited for experienced paddlers familiar with primitive access points. Motors are prohibited in this section of the river. Nearby campground options include Fall River, Gull Point, and Crane Prairie Campgrounds (all reservable), providing convenient overnight accommodation for multi-day paddling trips.
