About This Access Site
The Requa Resort boat ramp provides access to the mighty Klamath River in Northern California's Redwood country. As a major river system flowing to the Pacific Ocean, the Klamath boasts an impressive size and flow, with an average discharge of over 18,000 cubic feet per second and a total drop of over 4,000 feet from source to sea.

This boat ramp is open to the public and offers a convenient launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats to explore the Klamath's scenic, free-flowing waters. Nearby Redwood National and State Parks provide ample opportunities for additional water-based recreation and wildlife viewing along the river corridor. Paddlers should be aware of the Klamath's relatively high average velocity of 4.5 feet per second and plan accordingly. Local services and accommodations are available at the Requa Resort.
